To Reply to an RFI
There are two options to reply to an RFI.
Posting a Reply
Bring up the RFI Log
Click on the RFI Number you wish to respond to and follow instructions above.
Note: If you forward a RFI to a third party from the root level, it will give the forwarded RFI the next number in the log sequence. It will not create a new numbering sequence.
You should insert your response in the Replies field ( Bottom of form )
You have the option to either save your response or post the response.

| • | To Post – click on the Post icon  |
The Post icon will lock the architect’s response showing name, date, and time of posting.
RFI Response Admin View
| • | Type your reply in the Answer field |
| • | From – will default to the user; can be modified |
| • | RFI Status – select status via the drop down box. |
| • | Transmit the RFI back to the subcontractor. (Note: Make sure to change to TO and FROM fields prior to returning to the subcontractor) |
Note: You have the option to fax the RFI as well, but you must also transmit the RFI in order to keep the report data current.
The posting process will send a notification to the Pepper PM of the RFI response.
