Documents

The document section is where all project related documents are stored and released from. It is highly recommended that several project related decisions are set:
1. | Create a folder based project |
2. | In Plans use a "Current Plans" and or "Current Specs" for all construction documents. |
3. | Use a sub-folder within to categorize your plans (ie; Structural, Architectural, Mechanical etc...) |
4. | Standardize File Formats. This is a critical decision for all team members to be able to read files without owning additional software. It is not as critical for the core design team, being that they own the software to create cad and design files. For issuances, it is recommended to use pdf, dwf or G4 tif files. These formats can be read with simple plug-ins that are available on the web. |
