Since 1999, PlansandSpecs has been offering its products in SaaS format , or Software as a Service, in standard software shrink or the CD version for clients seeking installation behind their enterprise firewall.

Our focus originated from working with Commercial Construction and Homebuilding Professionals who were frustrated with the time required to launch and complete a project.

Our team studied and shadowed several excellent clients of our printing company and after countless hours of interviewing management, project managers, subcontractors, finance professionals and others directly involved with the construction industry, we researched technology and best practices.

Finally, we outlined our version of the best practices and we went to code with a hip Chicago group that was evolving in the emerging software development arena.

Together, we created the platform for PlansandSpecs and have continually improved upon the original platform with new releases offering features that have been requested by our community of Users.

Today, Software as a Service {SaaS} has evolved into a secure and flexible product that enables companies large and small to accomplish significant management and productivity enhancements in their business, without making investments in new hardware, software or consultants.
